Recommendations of the Spanish Ombudsman to the Directorate General of the Police so that, Circular 1/2010, of January 25, is modified, in order to correctly interpret the cases of “precautionary detention” and transfer to the police station of identified foreign citizens and also timely instructions are given in order to eradicate the police stops practice consisting of identification controls, based on ethnic and racial profiles.
