Vincejová in her PhD thesis (2010) researched activities of the police in relation to the protection of the rights of national minorities and ethnic groups, she also dealt with the issue of extremism and measures to eliminate it. She compared the work of the police in the Slovak Republic in the investigation of racially motivated crimes with the work of the police in other EU countries. She also analysed specific cases in which the police acted as protector of minority rights and cases where the police became a violator of minority rights.
